At the UN World Food Programme (WFP) in Rome, Jordan led a very small team on a very big job: a full rebuild of WFP’s global intranet. When it was all done*, the team was thrilled to get the nod from the Nielsen Norman Group as one of the 10 best intranets for 2018. Before that, he worked on a variety of content and communications projects at WFP, and in his time before the UN he wandered the open web as a freelance writer, did some translating, and taught some English. He’s currently in a new role as Platform Partnership Lead while he continues to manage the development of the intranet. He studied English literature in his native Canada and abroad, but worries he doesn’t get enough serious reading done these days.
*j/k what intranet is ever done
